South Shore Health has announced the election of two distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors who will serve terms through 2026.

“We are excited to welcome Grace Lee and Ken Quigley to our Board of Directors,” said Pamela O’Leary, Chair of the Board. “Their extensive expertise and familiarity with the communities we serve will be invaluable as we navigate our organization’s strategic growth and development.”

Grace Lee, Eastern Massachusetts Regional President and Group Lead of New England Government Banking at M&T Bank, is known for her experience and excellence in banking and treasury management in both the public and private sector, as well as her dedication to reaching underserved communities. Prior to joining M&T Bank, Lee led government banking for People's United in Massachusetts and was special counsel and vice chair of the Public Finance Group for law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC.

Lee’s public sector experience includes her work as general counsel and first deputy treasurer of the State of Massachusetts Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General, as a civil rights attorney for the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, and as chief of the civil rights division for the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office. Lee currently serves as a board member of the Roxbury Community College Foundation, Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, New England Council, New England Legal Foundation and Women in Public Finance. Lee is a graduate of California State University and received a Juris Doctor from New England Law in Boston.

Kenneth K. Quigley Jr. is a seasoned academic leader with experience at the top levels of higher education, public company board leadership and not-for-profit board governance and leadership. Quigley served as President of Curry College for 27 years, from 1996 to 2023. During his term as Curry’s 14th President, student enrollments tripled, and many new degree programs were launched. The college completed a substantial building campaign and achieved significant growth in its endowment.

Quigley currently serves as a member of the boards of the New England Council, the NYSE listed UMH Properties, and of Hometown Financial Group and Abington Bank, one of its operating subsidiaries. He is an Honorary Director of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Quigley is a graduate of the Boston College School of Management, and the Villanova University School of Law.
