Braintree-based OOFOS Provides a Little Extra Comfort to ED Staff

South Shore Health leaders and members of the South Shore Hospital’s Emergency Department staff met Monday with Cohasset resident Tim Davis, a member of the Board of Directors at Braintree-based OOFOS, to thank him for his role in the donation of OOFOS shoes to the Emergency Department staff.

Tim is a grateful patient of South Shore Hospital and credits the team there for saving his life.

It was out of this experience that Tim worked with OOFOS leaders to provide the gift of OOFOS shoes to the entire ED staff. OOFOS brands its products as active recovery footwear that reduces stress on the body, a quality that clinical colleagues could certainly appreciate. 

Following his care, Tim wrote a letter to the health system expressing his gratitude for the “exceptional” medical care he received after what he called a “near-death experience,” and saying that he is “grateful to know that South Shore Hospital is there should I ever need it in the future.”
