The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is a nationally recognized event with big local impact. Our PMC team fundraises to support patients receiving cancer treatment right here at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health. On average, the Cancer Center sees close to 700 of our loved ones and neighbors on the South Shore each day.

In 2024, Team South Shore Health's 28 cyclists completed various PMC routes ranging from 25 to 211 miles throughout Massachusetts, raising more than $237,000. Since 2016, through the generosity of our community, cyclists, and donors, Team South Shore Health has raised close to $1.7 million, with 100% of the funds remaining local.

Our team is made up of cancer survivors, community advocates, and South Shore Health colleagues who lend their powerful collective energy to wipe out cancer. We are recruiting new riders, beginner to expert, who are ready to take action, be inspired and make a difference through fundraising for local cancer programs and resources.

With 14 fully supported routes, all with varying fundraising minimums, there is something for everyone! Riders even have the option to chart their own course as a Re-imagined Rider or skip the ride and fundraise from your spin bike as a Virtual Rider.
