PET Scan / CT Scan (Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography) is the most advanced medical imaging technique available today. 

It layers two images; one PET scan which detects changes in cell activity and one CT scan which details fine structures within the body. Together, they make an incredibly precise image of the inside of the body.
